Where you meet it
A slow backend behind nginx or a CDN.
What to test
- Start the slowest operation you can find (e.g., a yearly report or a full export) → after the timeout a clear message appears, not an endless spinner.
- Start a very long operation and leave the page → it continues in the background, and you get a notification (or a ready file) when it's done.
- After the timeout message, press Retry → the operation starts again without re-entering filters or data.
