Where you meet it
An email that’s already taken at sign-up, a version conflict while editing.
What to test
- Sign up with an email that already has an account → no new account is created, and the message is what the requirements say (a direct "This email is already in use" or a neutral "Check your inbox").
- Open the same record in two tabs. Change and save it in the first tab, then change and save it in the second → the second save warns about the conflict instead of silently overwriting the first change.
- Read the conflict message → it says what exactly conflicts (which field or which version).
