301Moved Permanently
RelocrabNew ShellMigrated for good. Use the new address. What it means
The resource moved for good. Clients and search engines should update the URL.
Where you meet it
Moving to a new domain, or http to https.
What to test
- Open an old URL that has moved (e.g., an old product link) → you land on the new page, and the Network tab shows one 301 hop, not a chain.
- Open the old URL with parameters added (e.g., ?page=2&sort=price) → the new page opens with the same parameters.
- Open the http:// version of any page → you're moved to https:// with status 301, not 302 or a 200 copy of the page.
